Welcome to the 7th day of Christmas!

Day7_setof4guitarPrints

Today is a fun one. I can almost hear the guitar music playing.

You get a set of 4 guitar prints. These are the prints only (un-matted).

You’ll get:
1 – 4″ x 6″ Red guitar print
1 – 4″ x 6″ Yellow guitar print
1 – 4″ x 6″ Blue guitar print
1 – 4″ x 6″ Green guitar print

Looking for ideas on where to hang these?

Great in: family room, music room, music studio, child’s room, nursery, office, hallway, bedroom, teen room, basement, the list goes on and on.

Because these prints are un-matted I’m able to ship them to you for super cheap.   Many of the 5″x7″ frames come with a mat to fit a 4″x6″ picture so it’s a win-win.

Give them now for the holidays or put away for a birthday, father’s day or other gift later.

The matted version of this set retails for $32 so enjoy this great price of only $12!

Do you know someone who would love to take advantage of this special?  I’d be grateful if you’d forward this link to them.

Order here.

Thanks so much!

New Christmas Cards are in!

This year I was looking for a great way to be a little more green by using less paper but also really communicate a Christmas message that spoke to me.   My solution;  Christmas postcards.  They are flat Christmas postcards.   Picture on the front and message on the back.   They come with an envelope so you get the classy feel of a Christmas card but you’ll use almost 50% less paper!!  BONUS!

The card features a snowy, winters night. Trees, a lantern and under a tree, a boy laying in his red, warm pjs saying his Christmas prayers.

Due to a lot of things falling perfectly into place I’m able to offer an incredible price on these as well.   Stop on over to my Etsy page and check them out.   They come in sets of 10, perfect for all or part of your holiday card list.   Feel free to share with anyone you know that would love these cards.

Thrifty Thursday – How to make big bucks at your next yard sale

RichandCreativeThrifty_Header copy

Garage sales and yard sales are in full swing this time of year.

A few weeks ago we made over $1400 at our yard sale.  It was amazing!  Even better was that it was all donated towards my trip to Israel and Palestine in the fall.

Unfortunately just a week later I watched my neighbor attempt to do a garage sale.   I say attempt on purpose because they are losing out on hundreds of dollars in sales by missing out on some basic things.

I’ve watched them:

  • put in weeks worth of setup work
  • days of multiple people working their sale
  • not displaying things well
  • not advertising
  • poor signage
  • no prices on things
  • putting the wrong things in view
  • sleeping in and not starting until after 9am

They have had very little success.   How is it that there was less than 20 people that showed up to there sale just 1 week after over 200+ people showed up to mine right next door?

Are you like my neighbor?   Have you spent way too many hours on a garage sale only to make poor sales?  Are you needing to clear out some clutter to make room in your home for things that you really love?   I’ve been there.  I’ve had those sales where I’ve gone home with a hundred bucks and scratched my head wondering what I did wrong.

I can help.

Thrifty Thursdays – Bulk Garbage Burritos

RichandCreativeThrifty_Header copy

My husband and I are constantly on the lookout for easy meals for him to take to work.  I also wanted some healthy and easy meals for me and the kids.  So we bought these tortillas one day from Costco and I started looking around the house to see what else we had here.  I added some beans, rice, chicken (for him) and other goodies.  These have been a huge hit.  They are super cheap and easy.   Keep in mind that I’m am far from being a chef/cook.  So if I have left any pertinent information out just ask and I’ll add it in.

Hockey and Basketball November art special

NEW Hockey & Basketball Artwork gifts – on Sale now!!

I’m shaking up my quarterly sports art special and making it easier than ever for you to be able to give the gift of art to those in your life who play or simply love these sports.  For the next couple weeks you’ll be able to get Both the Basketball and Hockey artwork in a matted print or a Pallet art print. Plus you can personalize these.  Click the picture of your choice or here: Hockey Sale  or Basketball Sale!   I have a couple 8″x10″ original basketball paintings available also, you can find on the basketball link.   Do you know others who have kids that play hockey or basketball? Pass along this sale info to them also, spread the cheer.  Thanks!

Wondering about the details?  Here you go:

Prints – these prints are 8″x10″ and matted, the mats are 11″x14″ on the outer edge. This is a standard size, you will look for a frame with an 11″x14″ opening.  These are available at places like  Target all the way up to higher end frame shops.

Pallet prints – we disassemble pallets, cut them down and re-assemble them into a 9″ x 11″ finished piece. They are reinforced on the back with wood strips and held together with both glue and screws.  They are have hardware attached and are ready to hang.  I paint the pallet black and then the print is mounted to the front and sealed.  If you are wanting a name added to the print I then hand paint the name and seal it.  These are a great way to reuse materials and get a fun and different style of artwork.
