Let’s paint. 2019 color of the year.

Every year, Pantone announces a color of the year.  This is a color that has been gaining popularity and they estimate will see a boom in the design and decor worlds.

The 2019 color is Living Coral.  Pantone’s description of this color is: An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.

I wanted to share some inspiration and artwork that will bring this tone into your home!

A few months back I was in a clients home where the designer had a couple walls being painted in a very similar color.   I was called in to paint on some furniture to bring in touches of that color and some of the client’s personality into those pieces.

A great way to bring this color into your home as well if you’re not ready to paint a wall that color is through art, pillows, a throw blanket.  Even on a bookshelf adding in a couple pieces of this color to update the feel of your space.
