NEW – North Shore Bear Artwork – Behind the scenes

bear artwork on drawing board

Introducing my newest colored pencil commission, North Shore Bear artwork.  This piece was done in colored pencils. It is a very large 32″ tall x 40″ wide piece. It was done on a black, mat board. In this video I share a bit about the process, you can see it being created, and learn about the techniques I used.  If you liked the video I’d love it if you’d share it or give it a thumbs up to help the algorithms help others see it as well.

Video not showing up? You can view it here.

Interested in having a custom piece done for yourself?  This North Shore bear artwork was a collaboration with a client. We combined an idea for cabin art, with Lake Superior, and the powerful symbolism of bears. We researched a bit between what Moose symbolized and also bears and the owners connected with the bear. You can find more information here.  I love working with you to create artwork that fits your space but also has meaning beyond the obvious. Often this can be the feeling you want to feel in that room, it can be in remembrance of someone you care about and are missing, or something that inspired a new feeling you’re looking to have more of.

Thank you so much for watching!
